After transiting from animation to illustration, the bulk of work completed from 1990 to 1994 was for agencies and PR firms requiring original illustrated pieces for use in printed ‘point of sale’ items such as posters, billboards, brochures, newspaper and magazine ads, postcards, and flyers.
During this time all these commissions were completed in a combination of mediums; water colour ink on mounted water colour paper, finished with coloured pencils, as well as full acrylic paintings on board. More recently digital painting in Photoshop has been the tool of choice.
